Does the hotel have its own parking space?
Our hotel doesn't have its own parking space. We advise our guests to park their car in the Q-Park Hermitage parking garage nearby. The entrance of the parking garage is located next to the hotel. Back to top

Where can I park my car?
You can park you car in the Q-Park Hermitage parking garage, located next to the hotel. Exit the parking garage, turn left and you will see the entrance of the hotel.

What are the opening hours of the parking garage?

Monday - Wednesday    07:00 - 01:00 hours
Thursday - Saturday 07:00 - 03:00 hours
Sunday 10:00 - 03:00 hours

What are the costs of the Q-Park Hermitage parking garage?
As a guest of our hotel you can park your car at a reduced rate: € 16,- for 24 hours of parking. Meeting guests can also park their car at a reduced rate: € 9,50 for 10 hours of parking. Tickets are available at the reception of the hotel. Back to top

Do I need to make a reservation for the parking garage?
It's not necessary and not possible to make a reservation for the parking garage. The parking garage has 900 parking spots. Back to top

How is the public transport from and to Amsterdam arranged?
The city centre of Amsterdam can be easily reached by public transport. The direct train connection departs between 4 and 8 times per hour and brings you within 12 minutes to Amsterdam or Zaandam. How do I get to the hotel from Schiphol Airport by public transport?
There's a direct train connection between Schiphol Airport and Zaandam. The train to Zaandam departs twice per hour and the trip will take you 21 minutes. What is the check-in time?
The check-in time is 14:00 hours. It's possible to leave your luggage at the hotel in the morning, if you want to discover the neighbourhood or the city for instance. Back to top

Can I check-out at a later time?
Yes, you can check-out at 15:00 hours for an extra fee of € 15,- or you can check-out at 18:00 hours for an extra fee of € 25,-. Please note that a late check-out depends on the availability of our rooms. Back to top

Can I leave my luggage at the hotel?
Yes, you can leave your luggage at the hotel if your room is not ready yet or if you want to visit the city. You can also leave your luggage on your day of departure, to pick it up later. Back to top

Can I park my car in front of the hotel to load or unload my luggage?
Yes. There is a parking space in front of the hotel where you can load or unload your luggage for a maximum of 15 minutes. Back to top

Is there a internet connection in the hotel and what does it cost?
Throughout the hotel you can use our wireless internet connection free of charge. In the hotel lobby there are two computers with a internet connection, you can also use them free of charge. Back to top

Is there a swimming pool, fitness or wellness in the hotel?
Yes. On the 2nd floor of the hotel you can find our Wellness Center, including a swimming pool, Finnish sauna, Turkish steam bath and Life Fitness Gym. The Wellness Club is open daily from 06:00 till 23:00 hours and is free of charge for our hotel guests. Back to top

Can I use breakfast in my hotel room?
Yes. We can deliver breakfast in your room if you request this the evening before at the reception. The extra fee is € 3,50 per day. Back to top

Does the hotel offer room service?
Yes, we offer 24 hour room service. Please call the reception to order your room service. After 22:30 hours, there is a limited room service menu available. Back to top

Can I enter the hotel 24 hours a day or is the door closed at a specific time?
You can enter and leave the hotel 24 hours a day. During the night, the entrance door may be locked, but if you ring the doorbell, the night receptionist will open it for you. Back to top

At what time breakfast is served?
Breakfast is served at Bar & Restaurant Puur Saen, located on the ground floor: Monday till Friday from 07:00 - 10:00 hours and Saturday & Sunday from 07:00 - 11:00 hours. Back to top

What are the opening hours of Bar & Restaurant Puur Saen?
Bar & Restaurant Puur Saen is open every day until 22:30 hours. After 22:30 you can order food from our room service card. The bar is open every day until 00:00 hours. Back to top

Why is my room rate different compared to my previous reservation?
Our hotel works with flexible rates. The rate depends on several factors, including the length of the stay, the date, the number of rooms and the moment the reservation was made. Therefore, it's possible that our rates differ slightly from day to day. By booking directly at the hotel or through this website, you are guaranteed of the best available rate. Back to top

Why do I have to give my credit card details when I want to make a reservation?
Your credit card details are used to guarantee your reservation. By doing this, you room is guaranteed even when you arrive late. We do ask you to make sure that the credit card does work on the arrival day, because late arrivals are always checked on correct credit card guarantees. Back to top

I don't have a credit card. Can I still make a reservation?
Yes, you can make a reservation by calling +31 756 810 171. In that case we will always ask you your arrival time, because the reservation is guaranteed until 16:00 hours. Back to top

Do I have to pay directly when I give my credit card details for a reservation?
When you make your reservation through this website or by phone, we don't charge your credit card directly, because you pay at the moment of departure. Only when you book a Prepay & Save rate through our website, your credit card will be charged immediately. Back to top

I haven't paid yet, but I see that the hotel has made an authorization on my credit card. What does this mean?
The authorization of your credit card is a part of our check-in procedure. This means that we temporary reserve an amount - the expected hotel costs and a deposit - on your credit card, so you are guaranteed of a problem-free check-out on your departure date. Please note that this authorization is temporary and will be automatically released after your check-out. Back to top

Do I need to pay a deposit upon arrival?
In case you don't have a valid credit card, we ask you to pay the room charges, the city tax and a deposit of € 50,- (for any extras you may use) at the check-in. If you didn't use any extras during your stay, your deposit will be refunded at the check-out. Back to top

Are pets allowed in the hotel?

What do you recommend for an evening or a night out in Amsterdam?
Even during the evening and night there's plenty to do in Amsterdam. A lot of restaurants, bars and clubs are located in the Rembrandtplein and Leidseplein areas. You can also find several jazz and piano bars there. Throughout the city you'll find numerous clubs like Escape, Panama, Odeon, Jimmy Woo or The Powerzone.
