At the historic Honig Breet House you can experience how a merchant family in the Zaan region lived and worked around the year 1830.
The Honig Breet House was build in 1710 by Cornelis Jacobsz Honig, the owner of white paper mill 'De Vergulde Bijkorf'. More then a century later, the house at Lagedijk 80 was owned by the familiy of Jacob Cornelisz Breet and Grietje Jans de Jager.
Experience the Salon, the Garden Room and Zaan Room of this historic house with your own eyes, and be amazed by its beautifully decorated ceilings, decorations and numerous objects from the 18th century.
