The Russian Tsar Peter the Great stayed in the house when he learned the craft of a shipwright. The majestic guest stayed in the box bed - made by smith Gerrit Kist - for 7 nights. With this short stay he gave the small wooden house its name and fame.

The Tsar Peter Suite from Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Zaandam has the same style as the Tsar Peter House. The suite has an entrance door with wood look, a comfortable box bed, 2 flatscreen TV's and a superior bathroom with Alessi fittings. There's only one Tsar Peter Suite!
